The purpose of this research is<br />examining the impact of IT on organizational productivity and<br />recognizing its mechanisms based on process-oriented approach. For this<br />end, by reviewing the literature of the subject a number of impacts of IT<br />on organizational processes were identified. Then, through interviews<br />with IT experts, seven main factors were selected and presented in a<br />conceptual model. This model was tested through a questionnaire in 148<br />industrial companies. Data analysis shows that impact of IT on<br />productivity can be included in the eight major categories: Increasing of<br />the Automation, Tracking, Communication, Improvement, Flexibility,<br />Analytic, Coordination and Monitoring in organizational processes.<br />Finally, to improve the impact of information technology on<br />organizational productivity, some suggestions are presented. https://jitm.ut.ac.ir/article_36062_7b76d87e5753f0eefc3b0d3da8dfe8bc.pdf
